Keeping a few important things in mind that will make your travels much easier. So, in no particular order, here are:
- Pack Smart!
Pack and travel light. It’s OK to wear the same t-shirt a few days in a row as nobody remembers your clothes but what you did during your travel. Also, to save space you can roll clothes instead of folding. And ditch the suitcase for a backpack. - Make Photocopies of Important Documents
Scan your passport, visa, identification card and itinerary and send it to yourself ( or save it onGoogle Drive), as its absolutely essential to keep copy of all these documents in case of loss or theft. - Travel on Weekdays and offseason
Always prefer to travel on weekdays and offseason as its helps you to discover more out of a place. You’ll find that most related expenses will be cheaper-plane tickets or activity packages and even you find great deals on accommodation.
- Be an Early Bird
You’ll enjoy VIP access to all those crowded places.
- Pre-Book only your First night
Booking your first night at a destination is a great idea, and then you can look around and find a better place or re-negotiate. Read the review VERY CAREFULLY. Sometimes not booking a hotel gives you better options, you can walk around, look for nice hotel and then book.
- Travel with Travel Insurance
Probably our most important trip advice. Can say this over and over…“If you can’t afford travel insurance, then you can’t afford to travel”. It’s that simple. Especially if it’s an overseas trip!
